Damon 9 Months

This was the shortest photo-shoot in the history of photo-shoots.  There's just no time to sit and smile for the camera.

Damon has four teeth now which he uses to eat dirt, rocks, chalk and any other non-food item.  He is a busy, busy boy and I spend a good part of my day removing those non-food items from his mouth.  Each morning as I'm getting him dressed, I pray it's the last time until bedtime.  He is the most difficult child I have ever dressed in the history of dressing children.  Many times I let him sleep in his clothes because it's just exhausting.  I keep him on the floor most of the time because he about catapults himself off the changing table.  This kid is crazy:)  He is cruising with more confidence now.   He loves cords, rocks, chalk, toilet paper, and the dogs water bowl.  He is perfect in every other way:)  We love this little monster more every day.

This was the only way I finished this blog post.

Spring Break Mini Trip

We decided to keep our spring break close to home and simple.  We drove an hour north, up to Fredericksburg, Tx...a place we've always wanted to visit.  We left Monday afternoon and stopped at the outlet mall before going to our hotel.  Tuesday morning we got up early and drove to the Enchanted Rock.  It's a big granite rock that you can hike.  We showed up at 8:30 because we heard they only let so many cars in, and we didn't want to take the chance of not getting in.  It was the perfect day for a hike, and we were all really excited to get to the top of the rock.  It was a pretty easy hike, but there were some parts that were pretty steep.  Cadynce and Donnie were awesome, Colbie was mostly not awesome, and Damon was in the front carrier giving me an extra workout.  We hung out on top of the rock for a while...we snacked, enjoyed the view, and took pictures.  As we ventured back down the rock, we stopped and played on some rocks for a while.  As we were leaving the park, there were cars lined up for a mile waiting to get in.  We had lunch and then walked up and down Main Street looking at all the shops.  It was a great little town to visit.  View Album for more pictures.

Donnie's Art Show

Last week was Donnie's art show.  He made all kinds of art as he learned about several different artists over the past few months.  The Art Show reveals how hard the kids have been working and what they've learned.  We are so proud of Donnie.  View Album for more pictures.
