My mom flew out to watch the kids so we could focus on our race.  A huge thanks for the quick trip.  It made our weekend so much easier.

Kids Race

The day before the marathon they had a kids race.  Donnie ran a half mile and Cadynce ran a mile.  They both loved it.  View Album for more pictures.

Half Marathon

I ran my first half marathon on Sunday.  The thought of running it by myself sounded so boring, so I asked Don to run it with me.  I did a 10 week training program.  We ended up finishing 3 minutes faster than our goal time.  View Album for more pics.

Cousin Surprise

Several months ago Carrie decided to surprise her girls with a trip to visit us for their fall break.  We kept it a surprise for our kids as well.  We didn't get to spend all day in the pool, enjoying the sunshine, but we had fun!  We did heat up the hot tub in between down pours.  Such a fun weekend with cousins.  View Album for more pictures.

Labor Day Weekend

Grandpa and Mimi flew out to visit for the weekend, and to check out our new home.  We all really enjoyed the pool!  View Album for more pics.

Don's Big Day!

Don's birthday fell on the first day of school.  He took the day off work, and after dropping the bigs at school, we headed to Top Golf.  After we mastered our swing, we did a little shopping. We had a fancy lunch at Chick-fil-a (it's practically a date when the littles spend all their time in the playplace.)  Before we knew it, it was time to pick up the bigs.  We swam and then headed to dinner and cupcake. Our sitter came over once all the kids were in bed to end our wonderful day....alone!

Indiana Trip July 2015

This was our first time driving to Indiana in the summer.  We loaded up 4 kids and 3 dogs and hit the road.  It's pretty much the same as winter...it just gets colder as we drive.  We left 100 degree weather to a cooler 80:)  We made many memories and we tried to capture them all...as always.  View Album for pictures.

Newest Addition

Three weeks ago we decided to make Cadynce's dream come true...a new puppy.  When we found Riggins, he was only 3 weeks old so we had to wait another 3 weeks to get him.  The timing worked out perfect with our move to the new house.  Cadynce has been asking for a puppy for a few years now...we thought it would go away, but it only grew stronger.  Today we brought Riggins home and surprised the kids...their reaction was priceless.  Riggins is a male boxer.  View Album for more pictures.

Gold Belt

A couple of weeks ago Donnie graduated to gold belt at Karate.  There were about 30 people moving up to their next belt...all levels at the graduation.  It was great for Donnie to see some more advanced kids in action.

Spring Break 2015

We drove to Colorado for our spring break.  We spent a few days in Colorado Springs visiting Pike's Peak, the Air Force Academy, and the Garden of the Gods.  Our next four days were spent on Copper Mountain skiing.  What an amazing experience that was for our family.  We all had an incredible time and Cadynce and Donnie LOVED skiing.  View Album for more pictures.

Christmas 2014

Another fun filled Christmas flew by.  Kids were bummed there was no snow to go sledding in.  Don and I took a trip to Cancun to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.  Enjoy the pictures.
