Since we've been home

Our play group took a trip to a gymnastics gym during their open play time.  The kids had a blast running on the trampoline, walking on the balance beam, running on the floor, and hanging from the bars.  At the end of the hour they do bubbles and music and the kids loved all the big bubbles.

Cadynce has also been having a blast playing with her new slide in the backyard.  Grandpa and Mimi got it for her as a Christmas gift.  Blake has also been enjoying our backyard.  The two of them love to play baseball, swing, slide, and race to the fence.  It's so nice to just sit and watch them play.  View Album for more pictures.

It's a Boy!!!!

We went in for our sonogram yesterday morning and I was so wrong.  For months now, I have convinced myself that I was having a girl so when they said our girl had a scrotum my mouth dropped to the floor.  She said there was no mistaking and it was a boy.  We went to Chipotle last night to celebrate the exciting news that we are going to have a little Donnie, then walked to Target to buy a little boy outfit.

The top picture is a profile and the bottom picture is a little hard to see, but his face is on the far right looking this way and his arms are both up.

Chase & Catherine's Wedding

Chase and Catherine were married on Saturday, January 10th.  Catherine was a beautiful bride and Chase was a stunning groom.  Their ceremony was perfect and full of Catherine's personality.  They each had 6 people in their wedding party, and the three flower girls were Alissa, Aubrey, and Cadynce.  Robbie is a very experienced ring bearer, but this was his best performance by far.  He kept his clothes on and didn't cover his face while walking down the aisle.  The wedding was at the Aberdeen Chapel and the reception was across the parking lot at Aberdeen Manor.  I was the Matron of Honor so I had to give a speech.  I was a little nervous, but I think everyone got a good laugh.  The food was excellent and the Capehart kids along with Cadynce provided everyone with the entertainment all night long.  They danced their feet off.  Cadynce was literally the last one on the dance floor; she didn't even care that they stopped the music and all the guests had gone home.  It was a great time and we are so happy for Chase and Catherine.  View Album for more pictures.

Christmas in Indiana

We flew back to Indiana to spend Christmas with our families and enjoy the cold, snowy weather knowing that we would get to leave it after a few weeks.  Christmas was a little more fun with Cadynce this year since she's a little older.  When all the Christmas decorations came out in the stores Cadynce looked up at a big Santa blow-up and yelled "NOAH!"  That was my sign that we needed to start talking about Christmas.  She really got into it and became obsessed with snowmen.

We spent Christmas Eve with my family.  We always go to the Christmas church service then back home fore dinner and gifts.  The kids had a blast opening all their gifts.  Christmas Day we spent at Don's parents' house.  We had lunch then opened presents.  Cadynce played with each toy for about ten seconds until she got to open another present.  The day after Christmas is the Lindberg Christmas.  We had lunch at Pestos then went to Rhonda's church for the rest of the evening.  Unfortunately, the weather was horrible that day, but everyone made it to the church safe.  The kids had a blast running around the church gym, playing ball, and riding bikes.

Cadynce got to spend a lot of time with her cousins.  She loves all her cousins, but every time she saw Aubrey she would run to her and hug her for about 30 seconds.  She always wanted to hold Aubrey's hand.  We did get to play in the snow one day.  The weather was kind of crazy when we got there so we didn't get outside much.  We had a great, but very long trip and Cadynce came home a different girl.  View Album for more pictures.  Click here for videos.
