Cadynce at Championships

Cadynce was able to finish her season swimming at championships in the 5/6 year old division.  She did great and we are so proud of her.  We left early so I'm not sure where she finished overall.  View Album for more pictures.

Swim Meet #4

Cadynce continues to improve with each practice and each meet.  After she won a blue ribbon last week she worked really hard at practice because she wanted another one.  This was her best free style race, and the first time she swam without stopping.  This was the first meet she got to race in the backstroke, too.  View Album for more pictures.

Colbie 8 Months Old

Eight months of sweetness.  I can't imagine life without this angel.  She is crawling and trying to stand up now.  Teeth are coming in pretty fast.

Party, Dedication, & Daddy's Day

We had a busy weekend starting with Donnie's birthday party Saturday morning.  He has been waiting a long time to have his friends sing happy birthday to him and blow out his candle.  It was a Chicago Cubs themed party with a big cake that looked like a baseball and little baseball cupcakes for the kids.  The adults all made their own Chicago dogs for lunch.  We did not do a good job taking pictures this time...oops.

We also had Colbie's baby dedication at church that evening.  It was short and sweet just like Colbie.  There were about 40 families dedicating their little ones and it was during the church service.  They brought us all up on stage and had a slideshow of all the babies while they read each name.  There is something about church that makes Colbie very loud....

Father's Day was just as busy.  Cadynce and Donnie picked where they wanted to take Daddy to breakfast and which park they would take Daddy to play.  They took Dad to the pool and then to ice cream.  They really know how to plan a day with Dad!  View Album for more pictures.

First Track Meet

 We had our first track meet last night and it was a hot one!  We started with the 50 yard dash.  Donnie came in third place and Cadynce finished with a smile on her face:)  Cadynce won long jump with a 4'6" jump and Donnie held his own with the big boys jumping 1'10.5".  Colbie was the perfect spectator and cheered on her big sister and brother.  View Album for more pictures.

Look Who's Crawling

My baby is crawling!  She is getting more coordinated each day and it won't be long before she's into everything!!  How could I ever get upset at this cute little face?

First Swim Meet

Cadynce had her first swim meet today.  Unfortunately, we missed the whole week of practice with pink eye and a nasty cough.  She did a great job though.  She is learning how to dive and the backstroke.  She has another race next Saturday, and once she learns to go the length of the pool doing the backstroke, she will race in that event too.  View Album for more pictures.

Happy Birthday Donnie...
