We all flew out to Maryland to spend a few days with the other Clarks.  It was fun to see where they do life these days, and we also got a chance to do a few touristy things.

We spent two weeks with our family in Indiana.  We took a million pictures, but I'll highlight a few things we did.  We really enjoyed the cooler temps and our time with the fam.

Back Yard Bible Club

We hosted our second Back Yard Bible Club at our house.  It's always super hot and super fun.

Damon's 4th Birthday

This kid.  He requested all military toys for his birthday.  He's a natural born fighter, and will literally be in tears if dad did not fight with him before bed.  He's rough, tough and full of love.  He thinks everything is "awesome".  What a joy he is to be around...we adore this little guy.

When tried to persuade him to choose Peter Piper, he chose Chuck E. Cheese...Love it.

Spring Recital

Cadynce worked really hard on her two recital pieces.  She loved that Grandpa and Mimi were able to be here to see her perform.  We also got to celebrate Grandpa's birthday.  We loaded up his cake with candles and put on our birthday hats!

Donnie's 8th Birthday/Last Day of School

How lucky to have your birthday on the last day of school!!  Don started the donut thing many birthdays ago and the kids love to see their donut number.  We celebrated at Peter Piper again.

We made a trip to Houston for our first Astros game.  We broke every Campbell rule:  We got there when the gates opened and stayed until they kicked us out:)

Oklahoma City Marathon

I ran my first and possibly last marathon in Oklahoma City, and Don was nice enough to run it with me.  We had been wanting to get back to visit our first home and this was a great way to get there.  My mom met us there so she could watch the kids while we ran.  The house we rented was right along the race course at mile 23.  We stopped for hugs and my mom took a video of us "running".   It wasn't pretty!  The weather was cold (about 40), and the 3 mile run along Lake Hefner was windy with a nice blast of spitting rain to go along with it...good times.
