It's Fiesta week here, and Cadynce's school celebrated with a shoe box float parade along with some other Fiesta festivities. Her teacher let us borrow her float...I think she was just trying to help out the big pregnant mom and make life a little easier for me. I gladly accepted the offer. Donnie, Colbie and I watched each class make their way around the school showing off their floats. There were some serious floats that clearly were made by mom, and some that were clearly made by kids. It was my first Fiesta experience with a school...very interesting. Cadynce's day was filled with all kinds of Fiesta fun. They made tortillas and broke open pinatas. They were also served a Mexican lunch...such a fun day. Cadynce also gave Don and I a surprise that evening ( I knew nothing about this). She asked us to close our eyes and next thing we know we have confetti all over our heads. It's part of Fiesta to break cascarones (confetti filled eggs) on other people. Fiesta is a big deal here. If you're interested in the history click here. View Album for more pictures.
