Friday night we dropped the kids off at the church where Cadynce goes to school. They have a "kids night out" program that meets once a month. They were there from 6:3o-10pm. I think they enjoyed it just as much as we did. It took them a good 30 minutes to wind down once we got home. Saturday we spread dirt over the grass. The kids played in the big pile for hours! I did what I could to contribute, but the old body told me when I was done. Cadynce and Don camped out on the patio that night too. Cadynce was "off the wall" excited. Apparently, they didn't go to bed until midnight. Sunday, we squeezed in a trip to Sea World and ended the weekend at Bigz Burger Joint. It was a fun action packed weekend.

Why does one spread dirt over the grass? Is this a Texas thing? I'm glad you had a fun weekend!

It is dirt mixed with sand, iron, and a little poop. we have horrible, hard ground here and it gives the grass a chance to grow. It must be a south texas thing. I planted flowers around our trees and I really needed to use Don's shovel the ground was like rock.
