Our New Look

We've been doing a lot of work to the front of our house the last few weeks.  We pulled out all the hedges that were in front of the house and replaced them with a more tropical look.  We added rock, flower pots, plants, and a little mulch to finish it off.  We are so happy with how it looks so we wanted to share some pictures with you.  View Album for more pictures.

Cadynce 3yr & Donnie 10 month Pictures

Happy Birthday Cadynce

My little girl turned three today.  We started celebrating her birthday yesterday with a trip to Sea World.  We went to the Shamu show and then walked around looking at all the animals and playing in the tunnels with Don.  Our season passes are already paying off.  After Sea World we made our weekly visit to Chick-fil-a where Cadynce loves to play and make friends.
This morning she got us up early to open her gifts then Don and the kids headed out of the house for a couple hours while I threw a baby shower.  After naps we went to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe on the Riverwalk.  Cadynce absolutely loved this place.  She kept saying "this place is amazing" and "that is so cool."  On our way home we stopped by the pet store and bought her a fish which she named "Nemo."  She loves this fish and she wanted to keep him in his bag so she could carry him around.  Donnie really loves Nemo too and loves to watch him swim around.  I love watching how excited he gets when I hold him up to the tank.  We had cake and ice cream to finish off the day...it was an awesome day.  Happy Birthday Cadynce!  View Album for more pictures.

Easter

Easter gets a little better every year.  Cadynce was so excited for the Easter bunny to hide her eggs full of candy.  She was so excited she tripped going for egg number two and fell and hit her eye on the stairs.  Not a great start to the morning, but she recovered and found the rest of her eggs.  She was so excited when Donnie woke up so she could help him find his eggs.  She did a great job helping Donnie.  We went to church then headed to Mimi's Cafe for brunch.  We had a nice relaxing afternoon and that night Don and I went to the women's final four.  View Album for more pictures.  Click here for video.

Donnie 10 Months Old

Another month has gone by too fast.  Donnie is changing and learning new things daily.  He has started crawling short distances, saying ball, signing eat, pulling to a stand,  and saying mama and dada.   View Album for more pictures. Click here for videos.

Our Last Day

On our last day the girls (and Donnie) went to see a musical called Pinkalicious.  Alissa and Aubrey have the book so we went and checked it out.  I've always wanted to go see a play/musical at our little kids theatre downtown and we finally got to go.  It was really cute and the kids loved it.  Rob and Robbie had their "boy" time and headed to Taco Bell for some good Mexican food since they don't have one three miles from their house!!  It was such a wonderful week and I didn't want it to end.  Cadynce has said to me several times that she wishes they could live with us.  I have to admit, our house was pretty fantastic for having guests.  They got to stay upstairs and have their own space.

Incredible Pizza Company

We had one rainy day so we planned on going to a place where the kids could play indoors.  This place was awesome.  They had all kinds of games, go-carts, bowling, bumper cars, a bounce house, and much more.  We got there and ate first.  They had several different rooms to eat in...a diner, a gymnasium, a family restaurant, and a few others.  We ate in the diner.  We all had a great time and the kids were pretty tired after playing.  We got home and took a long late nap.  We went and had dinner at our favorite burger place "Bigz."  The kids enjoyed playing ball while waiting for dinner and after we ate we just hung out and played some more.  When we got home we got the kids all ready for bed and then had a dance party.  They loved it.  I don't think they went to bed until 10:30 that night.  What a fun day we had.  View Album for more pictures.  Click here for videos.

We Love the Zoo!

We went to the zoo on the most perfect day.  It was a good 78 degrees outside and we looked at almost every animal in that place.  Probably the most exciting thing we saw was the hippos butt.  The kids got a kick out of that.  After the zoo we went and had dinner downtown at a place called The Cove.  It was on the tv show Diners,  drive-ins and dives.  We ate outside and they had a playground for the kids to play on.  View Album for more pictures.

A Relaxing Day

After a day at Sea World we decided to just hang out at our house and go to the playground.  The kids had fun just being outside in the warm weather.  Alissa has said several times "Mom, I'm hot!"  The girls have had fun playing in the backyard with the horse swing and the playhouse.  Our weather has been awesome.  View Album for more pictures.

Sea World

We didn't waste any time getting this vacation started.  We went to Sea World on Sunday and spent the entire day there.  We saw our three favorite shows again this year.  The weather was beautiful and the crowd was unusually small.  It was perfect!! View Album for more pictures.
