Spring Break: Day 2

Saturday was another beautiful day to be outside so we decided to head to our neighborhood pool. The water was really, really cold, but everyone got in and had a great time. The water was warmer than the weather in Indiana so the Capeharts loved it. When the kids were done swimming they played on the playground and shot baskets. We ended the evening cooking out on the grill and making brownies. View Album for more pictures.

Spring Break: Day 1

The Capeharts arrived late Thursday night and were all pretty excited about going to Sea World. We slept in Friday morning and left for Sea World at 11 in our 15 passenger van we rented. We saw three shows, but the most memorable show was definitely Believe. We got there 45 minutes early so we could pick our seats, and we thought we were sitting in the "no splash" section but we were so wrong. We got completely soaked. After the splashing stopped I looked at Cadynce and she was screaming, I looked at Alissa and Aubrey and they were both crying too so we got up and left. We headed to the gift shop so the kids could get new shirts to put on, then we headed to the van for snacks. After our break Alissa went on a roller coaster, Robbie won two stuffed animals, and Cadynce got to crawl around a play area for little ones. We left the park at 8pm. We had a great day at Sea World and all the kids had a blast. View Album for more pictures.

A Day at the Zoo

My friend Nicole and I took Blake and Cadynce to the zoo yesterday, and they were both leaning forward in their strollers pointing at all the animals the whole time we were there. I think they both loved it, and we got a season pass so we plan on taking many trips to the zoo this year. View Album for more pictures.

11 Months Old

I feel like I repeat myself every month, but I can't believe Cadynce is 11 months old now. She is crawling full time now, and spends most of her time pushing her scooter around the living room and the kitchen. She has her routine stop in front of the stove where she can see her reflection and she always points and then waves.

We took some pictures at playgroup this week so you'll get to see all her friends. Cadynce is the second oldest but you would never know. View Album for more pictures.

Grandma's Weekend

Our moms came out for the weekend to visit us, and I don't know who had more fun, Cadynce or our moms. We just hung out at our house all weekend and played with Cadynce, but Don and I had to use our babysitters at least once so we went bowling on Saturday. It was so nice having our moms out for the weekend. View Album for more pictures.

It feels like summer!

It was a beautiful, hot and sunny day so we got the pool out for Cadynce. She had so much fun she didn't want to get out. Hoosier even got in with her, but once Cadynce started splashing Hoosier got out of there. I should also mention that Cadynce started crawling last week and can now pull herself to a stand. She isn't crawling everywhere, but she does crawl occasionally. View Album for more pictures.

She's Mobile!

Cadynce is wanting to walk more and more so I got out her wheels, gave her the keys, and she was off. All day long she walked back and forth in the living room. She had quite a few falls, but after a while she started getting the hang of it. View Album for more pictures.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a great Valentine's dinner at a Mongolian restaurant called HuHot. Cadynce had a hard time sitting still in the high chair because she was talking and pointing to the kids sitting behind us. She is very social when we're out in public. Thank you Mimi and Grandpa Don for the cute little red dress. View Album for more pictures.

10 Months Old

Cadynce has officially skipped crawling, and she is walking from couch to couch to end table to recliner and anywhere else she can get her hands on. I tried to get some pictures of her top teeth as well; still only three on top. Cadynce has started saying Dada when she sees Don. Every day gets better and better. View Album for more pictures.

More Teeth

Cadynce now has three teeth on top with the fourth almost in and still just the two on bottom. The past four days have been filled with a whole lot of whining and crying while her teeth are pushing through. Cadynce learned what a monkey says while we were at Target a couple days ago so now everytime she sees a monkey (in her book of course) she makes the sound. View Album for pictures.
