Standing Tall

I got Cadynce a little play table at the resale shop and she stands and plays until her little legs can't hold her any more. When the music plays she starts doing a little head bopping and some booty shaking!

9 Months Old

It's hard to believe nine months has gone by. Cadynce is still low crawling, and she gets pretty frustrated at times when her toys are across the room. I've told her many times that crawling is so much easier, but she doesn't listen:) She is into dropping everything on the floor and throwing anything she can get her little hands on. We had her nine month check up today; she weighs 16 pounds 8 ounces and is 28 1/4 inches long. View Album for more pictures.

Indiana Christmas

We flew home for ten days to be with our families for Christmas. Christmas time is always busy with three Christmas's on Don's side of the family and one on my side. We are so thankful that our families live so close together! Cadynce had a wonderful first Christmas, and she enjoyed playing with all her toys. Cadynce finally started to scoot while we were home, and our families loved watching her do it for the first time. As always, Cadynce loved being around her cousins and watched every move they made. They adore her, and take care of her like she's their little sister. View Album for lots of pictures.

Cadynce's First Christmas

Last night Cadynce opened her Christmas gift, and it was a sit'n spin. Don put it together, sat her on it, and decided to get her something else. He went to Target that night and got her a toy she can play with now. Cadynce also opened her gift from her friend Aiden, and it was a little dog that she will some day walk. Santa

Cadynce and I are involved in a program called Born to Learn, and I have a parent educator come to our house weekly. Last night the program had a Christmas party for the kids downtown, and they got to get their picture taken with Santa. Each child also went home with a winter coat and a new toy. It was so warm outside that we dressed her in short sleeves and sandals...only in San Antonio!! Cadynce wasn't exactly happy to sit on Santa's lap, but she didn't cry.

8 Months Old

Cadynce turned 8 months old today and she is getting more personality every day. We had a little photo shoot this morning, and I tried to capture some of her facial expressions (they are much better in person). She is now signing dog and milk, as well as waving hi/bye. Our 3rd Anniversary

Don surprised me and took me to a really cool restaurant called The Grey Moss Inn. Inside it was small and had a rustic feel to it. Cadynce did great even though it was nearing her bed time. She had green beans for dinner, and she LOVES green beans. We had Dairy Queen for dessert! View Album for more pictures.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent our Thanksgiving with the Amezega Family in Fort Worth and we had a great time hanging out, watching football, and eating lots of good food. View Album for more pictures.

Carrie & Aubrey Visit

Carrie and Aubrey flew out to spend the weekend with me, while Don was in Indiana at the Air Force vs. Notre Dame game. Carrie, Aubrey, Cadynce, and I had a great weekend; we did a little shopping, but mostly hung out at home with the kids. View album for more pictures.
